A travel partner for families who crave ease, depth, and a little luxury
I’m Sheba Sawyer: writer, storyteller, and curator of elevated family escapes. The Sawyer Campaign was born from decades of global travel and the joy of raising two curious explorers. Whether you’re a brand crafting soulful journeys or a family designing your next memory, I help you create experiences that feel intentional, inclusive, and effortlessly polished.
Travel Design Services
Thoughtful, insider-led trip planning for family trips, group getaways, and celebrations.
Great trips don’t come from top-ten lists. They come from someone who knows your pace, your people, and the places worth your time. I design trips the way I plan my own family’s travel: intentional, layered, and built around the moments you’ll actually remember.
The Consult · $150
For travelers who want expert direction and will handle their own bookings. A 60-minute planning session, followed by a curated shortlist built around your dates and style, delivered as a polished digital guide within three days. The full fee credits toward the Signature Itinerary if you upgrade within 30 days.
The Signature Itinerary · $400
The full trip, designed end to end. A complete day-by-day itinerary tailored to your pace, taste, and budget, with key reservations made for you and personal introductions where I have relationships with properties and hosts. Two rounds of revisions, a beautiful final travel document, and a pre-trip check-in call the week you depart.
The Concierge Experience · $750
White-glove from first call to welcome home. Everything in the Signature Itinerary, plus lodging research and booking, celebration touches arranged on-property, and on-trip support: text me while you travel and I handle changes, rebookings, and weather pivots in real time.
Good to know: Design fees cover planning and coordination time. Trip costs are booked at direct pricing; I never mark up vendor rates. Traveling with kids, a girls’ group, or three generations? That is my specialty, not a complication. A deposit reserves your dates, with the balance due on delivery of your final itinerary.
I take on a limited number of itineraries each month to keep the experience bespoke.

Brand Partnerships
Travel stories that live well beyond the feed.
I collaborate with airlines, hotels, tourism boards, and lifestyle brands that center thoughtful design and family-friendly luxury. My community shows up for itineraries that balance Michelin reservations with taco stands, horseback rides with art museums, and five-star suites with eco-forward stays.
What we can build together:
- Multi-platform editorial features (website, newsletter, Pinterest, Instagram, Threads)
- Story-driven photo and video content with inclusive family representation
- Real-time social coverage, hosted takeovers, and post-trip recap reels
- Long-form city guides, packing rundowns, and travel-with-kids playbooks
- Speaking, hosting, or panel appearances focused on modern Black family travel
Every partnership includes a creative brief, deliverable calendar, and performance recap, so you have assets and insights that keep working long after wheels-up.
Why The Sawyer Campaign
- Lived experience. Twenty-plus years of international travel, plus boots-on-the-ground knowledge as a Black woman and mother raising curious, well-traveled kids.
- Luxury meets real life. Five-star ease blended with culturally grounded adventures families can actually book.
- Taste you can verify. Every recommendation comes from somewhere I’ve stood, stayed, or sat down to eat.
